How does Cortexia work?

Each session consists of 10 algorithmically generated questions. Difficulty adapts to your level in real time using an Elo system. You have 10 minutes per session.

Do I need an account?

No. You can train freely as a guest. Creating a free account (no credit card required) lets you save your progress, unlock badges, and appear on the leaderboard.

Is it really free?

Yes, Cortexia is 100% free. No feature is locked behind a paid subscription.

What types of questions are there?

Number sequences, dominoes, matrices, letter sequences, card sequences, mental math, analogies, Mastermind, and memory grids. Each type targets a different cognitive skill (logic, working memory, reasoning).

How do I read my score?

The score (0–1,000) combines accuracy (60%), speed (20%), and average difficulty (20%). A score above 700 is excellent. The Cortexia Logic Index (CLI) is indicative — it is not a certified psychometric test.

How can I improve my results?

Consistency is key. 10 minutes a day is enough. Use the "Weak spots" page to identify your gaps and launch a targeted session directly from the dashboard.

How does the streak work?

Your streak counts the number of consecutive days with at least one completed session. It resets to zero if you miss a day. Badges unlock at 3, 7, 30, and 100 days.

Can I delete my account?

Yes. Contact us at contact@cortexia.me and we will erase all your data within 48 hours, in compliance with GDPR.
